That's Airxess

«Airxess…» (rxs)
Airxess, a store which combines airbrush and goalie masks like no others!

Experience since 1993 in painting goalie masks (over 1500pcs, but we count any more), in production of goalie masks and also the technical knowledge for repairing and producing goalie masks speaks for it's own. At the beginning of Airxess (1993) we were involved in the goalie mask production for the Giglio mask, a well known brand in Switzerland.
The following  years we decided to increase the output of mask designs because they were hard to get at that time. And we were right. Today our designs are well known in the goalie scene but also loved by non goalies!

Of course there was a lot more like digital graphics (logos, websites...), photography, and so on, but now we go the goalie mask way: mask painting, -producing, -refurbishing, a hockey goalie shop with a lot of cool items, only to buy at airxess.

Because of that:

We paint only(!) goalie masks because of the huge demand... so please no enquiry for mobiles, ties, textile, cars, boats, murals, electrical device, toilet lid, or rifles... but thanks anyway for thinking about us!

2008 we restared the goalie mask production with our experience we got in all these years of disassembling, repairing, painting and reassembling all different brands. This time Alessandro "Alec" Voggel with his technical education (Airbrush was only a hobby in his early days) was the head of the whole project, the concept, modelling and prduction of the spare parts. With all his ideas, the Airxess staff and some very good parters, the Tornado Masks came alive and are up to 50% to see in our National League A, the Swiss top league. Not enough, also seen in the Swiss National Team and the Swiss Olympic Team! And since 2009 in the NHL!

2009 anohter year of excitement! Jonas Hiller had his mask designs made at Airxess since 2003. He heard about our Swiss Mask Project and knew about our technical knowhow.
Of course he had his ideas about how a mask should look like. We met different times and he choosed us to participate, in order that he can give the shape of the mask how it should look like. The rest of the concept was up to Airxess, and born was the Tornado Hiller edition. The first Swiss made mask in NHL History! A milestone in Swiss Hockey History.
This was the beginning with the Hiller Edition.

2010 we don't take a rest and have new ideas. Because we are focussed only on goalie masks, we decided to create another brand, the Hurricane. A more cheaper modell, produced in Canada. Knowing the people who are producing this mask gives us the confidence that this mask, with these materials and this price, is absolutely great.
Jonas Hiller had some new ideas to change his current mask modell. Many hours later, the Tornado Hiller Edition EVO I was the result.

The Protoype mask we handed out to Hiller was painted in black matt with some gold sticker. At that time nobody was thinking that this mask would be one of the most talked about mask today! Hiller loved the black, his team mates too, his fans and even some refferees who saw him during practice! Hiller decied to keep the mask as it is and the feedback we became was incredible!
In the meantime some mask producers recognized the coolness of a flat black mask. They took some of their modells and do a flat black finish! Airxess as trendsetter gives us even more power to think about new mask ideas!

2011 antother milestone in the Airxess history. Not enough that we have a big success with our Tornado masks in Switzerland, now we export it to different countries!
In december 2010 after a great meeting in USA, we recognized that Airxess has not only the potential to selling only goalie masks, but also other protective goalie wear. Of course we don't wanted to be just another reseller for a brand that already had his clients. The brand should fit our philosophy. And there it was, Koho, the cult brand. Because of our good name Airxess and the connection to Jonas Hiller which is wearing that brand since years, and our new partner in USA Goaliemonkey, we now help customers to get the whole Koho line. Stay tuned, the history will continue!
April 12 same year, HC Davos has won the Swiss Championship NLA 2010/2011! All of the three goalies, Leonardo Genoni, Remo Giovannini and Janick Schwendener are not only wearing Airxess designs but also a Tornado Proton ac43 Mask! Not enough, also the goalie of the Swiss Champion NLB EHC Visp is wearing a Tornado mask, a Hiller Edition Evo I, model 2011! What a highlight!
